“Our new platform makes B2Brazil the most efficient, effective and inexpensive means for a company to do business in and with Brazil,” said John Gardiner, founder and partner of B2Brazil. “This platform will enable our growing base of nearly 10,000 registered members to conduct business directly and enable us to monetize our multiple services. Also, we expect significant registrations and membership growth by requiring registration in order to conduct activity and by offering Free Membership to non-Brazilian companies.”
“The slowdown in China and devaluation of the Real has had two major impacts: (1) Brazilian products are much cheaper for export, and (2) Non-Brazilian exporters, particularly Chinese, are pro-actively seeking new business opportunities,” said Alexandre Martins, managing partner of B2Brazil. “We are seeing increased user activity on both counts, as well as increased domestic B2B activity as companies are getting more aggressive in trying to make money,” he said.
The new platform is also the first exposure of comprehensive trade and business services that B2Brazil can provide to companies. These services are provided either directly by B2Brazil or referred by B2Brazil to a service provider. “Besides getting contacted by companies for trade and business services, we are in a good position to evaluate leads and deal-flow to facilitate transactions and new business,” said Gardiner.
The U.S. Department of Commerce recommends foreign companies to partner with a Brazilian company in order to facilitate business in Brazil. B2Brazil’s position in the market makes it the perfect partner for Brazilian and non-Brazilian SMEs to connect and transact.
