Made up of professionals from the global financial industry, the Council is part of Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s efforts in creating a path to excellence for financial institutions around the world.
Spearheaded by Edcomm Banker’s Academy’s 22+ years of experience in the financial services industry, the Council will foster new ideas and perspectives regarding the state of the industry by encouraging members to interact with colleagues from around the world to extend their circle of professional contacts. The Council will also gain a valuable and impressive industry credential and play a crucial role in helping Edcomm Banker’s Academy contribute to the excellence of the financial services industry.
Edcomm Banker’s Academy carefully selected each member of the 2009 Banker’s Academy Advisory Council based on their excellence in the fields of Banking in the Middle East, Banking in China, Investment Banking, Operations, Compliance, Banking in Nigeria, Legal Banking, Islamic Banking, Bank Training, Credit Union Training and many more. The members represent organizations in the United States, Kuwait, United Arab Emiratis (UAE), Nigeria, and Jordan, including: Bank of China, First City Monument Bank, Unity Bank Plc, Burgan Bank, Stevens and Lee, Guaranty Bank, Cowen and Company, First National Bank of Omaha, Union Bank of California, RIA Financial Services, Colonial Bank, among others.
The 2009 Banker’s Academy’s Advisory Council will bring together its members via conference calls and webinars several times throughout the year to discuss specific and timely financial issues. Additionally, the Council members are encouraged to respond to bi-monthly industry surveys and provide advice and feedback to specific questions as needed throughout the year.
