CYPRESS, Calif. – Las Brisas , the iconic Laguna Beach restaurant owned and operated by Real Mex Restaurants, is shaking up the work week with the launch of a live music Happy Hour every Wednesday night. Beginning January 28 from 5 p.m. – 9 p.m., guests will be able to relax and unwind with good music, great drinks and stunning views of the Pacific Ocean at one of Orange County’s favorite restaurants. The new Happy Hour will also kick-off the partnership between Las Brisas and local environmental artist, Wyland and the Wyland Foundation.
To complement the addition of Happy Hour, the bar at Las Brisas has been redesigned with new lounge furniture to create an intimate and cozy setting. Guests will enjoy new sofas, arm chairs, tall tables and bar stools for a more sociable experience. Original artwork from the Wyland Gallery will also be on display in the bar area. Las Brisas will be showcasing new pieces of Wyland’s artwork throughout the year. Additionally, to accompany the enriched setting, live music will take center stage with the reggae-rock sound of local favorite and Orange County’s own, Nick I.
And, what’s a Happy Hour without a great selection of drinks? Las Brisas will offer a deliciously impressive list of specialty margaritas, hand-crafted cocktails, martinis, bottled beer and the premiere of a new wine list. Everything from the fruity and flavorful Cinnamon-Apple or Super-Fruit Sangria, to the sweet-heat of the Peppered Beverly Martini, to the one-of-a-kind Mexican Mule, will have guests returning for another round.
In addition to the expansive variety of specialty drinks, Las Brisas is proud to partner with Wyland Foundation and Tres Sietes Tequila to offer Wyland’s “Whale Tail” Margarita. Tres Sietes Silver Tequila, Blue Curacao, Agave Nectar and Muddled Citrus combine to make a uniquely, colorful margarita, capturing the essence of the ocean. Proceeds from this Las Brisas-exclusive margarita will benefit the Wyland Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting, protecting, and preserving the world’s ocean, waterways, and marine life, founded by renowned environmental artist, Wyland.
“Las Brisas is an iconic restaurant in Laguna Beach,” said Wyland. “They are an essential part of our community — and certainly have one of the most stunning views of the coast. I am proud they are supporting the efforts of the Wyland Foundation to raise awareness for clean waterways and a healthy ocean.”
To further enhance the Happy Hour experience, seasonal entrees have been added to the dinner menu. Original chef specials and innovative dishes including the spicy and savory Chili Garlic Mussels, decadent Dos Moles Pollo and the delicious Twin Lobster Tails, will satisfy the after-work crowd. Many guest favorites like the Fresh Guacamole, Queso Fundido and Ahi Poke Tower, to name a few, are perfect to share.
