Dover, NH, November 30, 2016 — Morse Data Corporation, developer of InOrder Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, announced successful validation of InOrder version 11.x according to Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Payment Application Data Security Standard (PA-DSS) v3.2.
To achieve PA-DSS validation, Dara Security, a PA-DSS Qualified Security Assessor (QSA), tested the software and submitted a report with the InOrder PA-DSS Implementation Guide to the PCI Security Standards Council.
PCI Data Security Standards require merchants that accept credit card payments to protect sensitive payment card information. Part of complying with PCI Data Security Standards includes using PA-DSS certified software. As a result of this validation, InOrder version 11.x may be used by merchants who are PCI-DSS compliant. For more information about PCI-DSS and PA-DSS, please visit the PCI Security Standards Council website.
“In this day and age, credit card security is more important than ever,” says Diane Loborec, Vice President of Operations for Morse Data Corporation. “Since InOrder gives our clients the option to tokenize or to remain processor agnostic by permanently storing credit card data, we take PCI very seriously and so do our clients. The benefits associated with PCI compliance are extremely vital to the long-term success of our clients who process credit card payments on a daily basis.”
