The Fight Night II

18, March 2016: The Fight Night II promoted by Victus Sports (Victus Productions Pty Ltd) and supported by major sponsor Monaro Windows, sanctioned by the World Kickboxing Association (WKA), and is in support of local charity Oz Help. The Fight Night II will be held on May 7th at the newly redeveloped Canberra Rex Hotel.


The Fight Night is a Canberra based combat sports show which features up and coming local and interstate fighters, The Fight Night Academy (TFN Academy) boxers, Martial Arts shows and Sports Star Q & A. It is a formal red carpet event bringing to light the positives of combat sport.

A large focus of The Fight Night event will be a culmination for TFN Academy program delivered by Canberra based Gym Victus, where everyday individuals prepare to step into the ring for a suitably matched sanctioned (WKA) boxing or Muay Thai bout. The program is set out to expect a degree of fighter commitment. During 3 months of training individuals will have been tested physically, mentally and emotionally; not only for safety as a ring sport, but as a life changing experience for themselves and to inspire others. Fight for life.

Heading The Fight Night II card will be local fighters from Phoenix gym coming up against interstate competitors fighting under Full Thai Rules bouts. The event will also have fighters from both Canberra and Sydney regions.

The event is aimed at the promotion of positive living through exercise using combat art as a basis. This is emphasised through the event charity being set at helping individuals of a working trade deal with issues such as depression and suicide, and as such The Fight Night charity partner is OzHelp. The Fight Night is about turning negatives into positives, and helping individuals reach out to the support which is there to help.

The Fight Night II is a combat sports event in Boxing and Muay Thai that is promoted and a property of Victus Sports (Victus Productions Pty Ltd). A major part of the event is the fund raising and promotion (awareness) of event charity OzHelp, an organisation who assist individuals of a working trade deal with issues such as depression and suicide. Net profits from the event will be donated to OzHelp, along with monies raised through auctions and raffle prizes.
